When Used As Directed, TYLENOL® Has Minimal Drug Interaction Risk
When you take some pain relievers with over-the-counter or prescription medicines, they may interact with each other-changing the way one or both of them work in your body. This may cause side effects.
TYLENOL® is a pain reliever that works differently and, when used as directed, is a suitable choice of pain reliever for patients with asthma, the elderly, patients taking multiple prescription drugs and patients taking anti-coagulants. Do not use TYLENOL® with other acetaminophen-containing products. Always read and follow labeled directions.
TYLENOL® Has Not Been Shown to Interfere with ASPIRIN® Low Dose Therapy
If you are taking low-dose ASPIRIN® (acetylsalicylic acid or ASA) for doctor-supervised daily preventative therapy, it is important you know all the facts when choosing an over-the-counter medicine to treat pain.
There is no evidence of any interaction between using low dose ASPIRIN® therapy and taking the main ingredient in TYLENOL® to treat pain.
