How can I tell if I have a sinus infection or allergies?
Symptoms of a sinus infection are different than allergy symptoms. A sinus infection is accompanied by a thick, cloudy, yellow-green nasal discharge and pain or tenderness around the eyes and cheekbones that becomes worse when you bend your head forward. You should see a doctor immediately if you suspect you have a sinus infection. Other indications include swelling of the face, blurred vision and increased throat pain.
