Count the Doses

Daily Medication
Sometimes it can be difficult to remember if and when you took your last dose of medication. The best way to remember to take your medication is to take it at the same time every day. Setting an alarm on your phone or watch may also be helpful, and pill counters or pill trays can be useful for multiple medications and schedules.

Medication as Needed
If you are taking medication as needed to relieve symptoms, it might be helpful to simply write down the time that you took your medication immediately after you take it and record the dose. If you are still not getting relief, always wait until the next scheduled dose.
